HEARTS WHO CARE was formed in February of 2017 to honor the memory of Sandy Aranoff.
Our mission is to fund cutting-edge research breakthroughs at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL), primarily through the sale of theater tickets.
Sandy was an extraordinary woman whose generosity of heart was an inspiration to all who knew her. On December 12, 2016, Sandy lost her fierce battle with metastatic breast cancer.
A few months prior to that, a group of friends accompanied her on a tour of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory in Cold Spring Harbor, NY. That tour was a life-changing experience for so many of us.
Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) is a preeminent research institution, achieving breakthroughs in molecular biology and genetics and enhancing scientific knowledge worldwide. It has been the home of eight Nobel laureates and its focus is on alleviating human suffering.
With your support, we are all "Hearts Who Care." Please join us in our efforts to raise money for CSHL's cutting-edge cancer research.
